Face-to-face personal training took a huge hit during COVID-19 and quite rightly so. With a virus that swept not only our nation, but our entire world as a whole, it’s no wonder that we were forced into a lockdown style living arrangement for longer than expected.

With lockdown restrictions now beginning to lift and government guidelines now allowing for more movement, people are now trying their hardest to return to a more normal way of living and personal training sessions are one such way in which you can begin to return to your previous workout routine.

Recipe For Results Have You Covered

Whether you’re looking to return to your pre-lockdown personal training sessions, want to continue the good work you began in lockdown or even simply want help shifting those lockdown lbs, then Recipe For Results have you covered.

You can rest assured however that you’ll be well taken care of during our PT sessions and we aren’t simply referring to our personal training. Here at Recipe For Results, we understand only too well that keeping the virus at bay is imperative for not only your health, but our own too.

That’s why we’ll be cleaning all equipment before and after each use, between sessions using specialist cleaning solutions. This ensures you and your trainer remain safe at all times.

We’ll also actively be encouraging personal training sessions in the great outdoors, which as you know poses far less of a risk in terms of infection. There are however, several benefits when it comes to PT outdoors. Here are just a few of them:

Natural Antidepressant

Being outside is a natural antidepressant that can help ward off seasonal disorders such as SAD, depression and even anxiety. Sunshine naturally increases a hormone called serotonin, which helps elevate our mood. Couple this with endorphins from training and it’s a no-brainer.

Doesn’t Feel As Much Of A Workout

People have often expressed how working out outside can feel much easier, and time flies far more quickly when compared to working out on a treadmill or indoor rowing machine.

Can Be More Social

Outdoor training sessions allow you to see other people, such as passers by but it also allows you to bring family and friends along, so you can train together. Not only does it make it more sociable but it also makes it more likely that you’ll stick with it.

Fresher Air

Last but not least, you can also enjoy much fresher air, especially when you’re in the middle of a park, surrounded by trees. Compare this to the stuffy air you’ll likely encounter within the confines of a gym and there’s no comparison.

What They’re Saying About Us

I started Personal Training with Recipe For Results recently with a very specific goal in mind, but I had no idea how to achieve it or if it was even possible. When I met Martyn he was very knowledgeable and encouraging.

Fauzia Godwin

I started Personal Training with Martyn as I had recently had a hip replacement and I was very overweight and unfit. I had been doing a gentle, boring routine for a while and lost some weight but needed motivation to increase my fitness.

Lynne Keeling

Martyn keeps the Personal Training sessions interesting by teaching you different exercises each week and really pushing you forward so you can achieve your goals.

Started training with Martyn before my wedding and the benefits I saw in only a couple of months was enough to keep me going! Felt great on my hen do and wedding day too! Thanks! #SweatingForTheWedding
